On behalf of the North Gaston HS Band, we would like to say a HUGE Congratulations to senior and drum major of the Marching Wildcats, Ronald Tovilla Pablo! Ronald is officially a United States Marine Musician! He auditioned a couple of weeks ago and got the amazing news of his big accomplishment! Ronald is the embodiment of pure talent, hard work, and a never give up attitude! Such a fantastic musician and student! We are so proud of what he has done and know that he will continue to do great things as a professional musician!

I wanted to say a huge congratulations to the North Gaston HS Symphonic Band! The band performed at the annual MPA event and did outstanding! The band earned a rating of Excellence! While this is not the superior we were hoping for, this is still an incredible achievement! The students have worked tirelessly to put the music together and always take great pride in their performances. Thank you to those who keep supporting the program!

Good Morning Wildcats!

As you know running a band program takes the help of many dedicated and hard working people! Students spend their time learning music, growing as individuals, and learning valuable skills that will help them once they graduate!

With that being said, the band program is looking for YOUR help! We are currently fundraising for the 2026-2027 school year! The money that we raise will go to help cover costs for the marching band including: costs for trips, clothing, and of course our Invitational! As well as any other costs.

Good Morning!

I know this is a little late but I wanted to thank everyone who came out to the North Gaston Open House last week! We met a lot of really great students who were interested in band at the HS.

We are looking for students to join band at North Gaston! If you are wanting to continue your musical journey after middle school than there is no better place to look than North Gaston! We have a tremendous band program that has achieved excellence every year!

We offer Marching Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band! If you're someone who loves playing your instrument and wants to grow that passion even more or wants to at least give band a try then we invite you to join band at North Gaston!

Would like to congratulate these AMAZING students on a FANTASTIC concert this past Saturday at the All-Coutny Band Clinic! These students put in the hard work and dedication to make the experience unforgettable. These students represent North Gaston HS with pride and we are very proud of all the hard work they put in to perform with the very best Gaston County has to offer!
