As we finish up our 1st week of school, please see the message from Officer Carranza from The Colony Police Department:

The City of The Colony has adopted Ordinance 2026-2648, establishing new rules for e-bikes, motor-assisted scooters, and mini-motorbikes.

These rules are designed to protect riders, pedestrians, motorists and our community, especially our children.
Parents and riders are encouraged to know where these vehicles may legally be operated and to follow all safety requirements.
Our goal is education and voluntary compliance, but violations may result in citations and fines.

Ride smart. Wear a helmet. Know the rules. Stay safe.

It is a student only event that will give your incoming 6th grader a chance to walk their schedule, meet their teachers and our staff and other 6th graders. It's a great opportunity to familiarize themselves with our campus as they get ready for Middle school. We can't wait to meet our new incoming 6th graders!
