How do you motivate your sales team? ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

First things first, you must make your salespeople dream a little and set goals higher than they had last year. Yes, personal goals. You can start by asking them to think about this question, โ€œIf I gave you a check for $20k, what would you do with it?โ€ They must come back with three to four things they would spend the money on, and it can't be, "I will save it."

Now that we have some , correlate that to how many new they would have to make to get that check, then what they typically have to do to create a sale. Start by breaking it down into daily activities and measuring those activities. Ask them to put a picture of their goal(s) on their desk where they will see it every day. Follow up with them daily asking if they did something today toward achieving it. ๐Ÿ†
