Hello ladies! This post is a shout out to all the Coppell Cowgirls who played sports under Coach Rita Clay in the 1970’s….
We are planning a reunion in honor of Coach Clay on Saturday, October 21, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the clubhouse located at 3449 Sundown Blvd, Denton, TX.
If you’ll be traveling in from out of town, there are several hotels nearby. There’s the Homewood Suites, Holiday Inn, and even an Embassy Suites, and they have awesome breakfasts!
We’d absolutely love it, if each and every one of you could make it out for an afternoon of reminiscing with friends over old times. If your Mom, or someone you know, had a close bond with Coach Clay, bring them along! The more, the merrier!🥳
We’d like to try to get a headcount as to how many will be able to make it, so please send a text to 940/206-7193, if you plan to attend, and give us your name, and how many will be attending. We are super excited to see you guys, and happy to shine a spotlight on a lady who played a special role in all our lives.

Many have been asking about a reunion this year. Due to multiple graduations and personal obligations in the families of the group that planned the event last year, we will not have a reunion this year. We have discussed keeping this as a bi-annual event so next year for sure we will have a reunion. Looking forward to it....

Everyone mark your Calendars for the 2014 reunion. It will be on July 19, 2014. We will be updating information and getting the invitation posted soon. If you did not make this years, you missed out on an amazing night. Let's see how many we can get there next year.

It was wonderful having everyone get together. Sad that so many of our friends and CHS family were not with us this evening! But the ones of us that were there had lots of fun and laughs tonight. If you were not able to make it, hold on because within the next two months we will set the date for next years reunion! Will be posting pics as soon as we get them!

Just so everyone knows, we have had several people that have inquired about being able to purchase tickets after the deadline. We have gone in and changed the site to be able to allow ticket purchase til 10:00 am on July 5th. After that time there will be no more tickets available nor can you purchase tickets at the door. Hope everyone is having a Safe and Happy 4th! See you guys on Saturday.
