Thank you! 🐎❤️

We are so grateful to everyone who supported the Division of Art’s Giving Day campaign for Metal Casting! Thanks to 10 generous donors, we raised $1350 to support our foundry and sculpture students.

Your generosity helps our students create lasting works in bronze and aluminum, building a legacy of art that will resonate for generations. Your support makes a real impact—thank you for being part of this community!

"What's Left Behind" is a joint exhibition featuring works from Professor Emily Budd's "Time & Material" sculpture class and Professor Kerry Maguire's Intermediate/Advanced Print class.

In the spaces between presence and absence, what traces remain? "What's Left Behind" explores the art of impression—where casts, rubbings, and transfers become vehicles of memory and meaning.

Our student artists investigate how materials record moments of contact, preserving details that might otherwise go unnoticed. Each artwork considers the relationship between original and reproduction, between what was and what remains.

Through sculpture and print, the artists examine the moment of contact. The indexical mark—a direct physical impression of something that once existed—tells stories of temporality, transformation, and the poetry of absence.

🗓️Dates: Thursday, March 13 – Tuesday, March 25
🎉Reception: Tuesday, March 25, 6pm – 7:30pm
📍Location: Jordan Student Gallery, Owen Arts Center, 6101 Bishop Blvd.
