North Gaston High School Announces New Athletic Leadership

Earlier today, North Gaston High School shared the announcement of Mr. Daniel Hoyle being named the school’s next Head Football Coach. We are excited to now share additional exciting news regarding the future leadership of Wildcat Athletics.

Amy Brown Named Athletic Director

North Gaston High School is also pleased to officially welcome Mrs. Amy Brown as the school’s newest Athletic Director.

Mrs. Brown brings 13 years of experience serving as Athletic Director at W.C. Friday Middle School. She is excited about this new opportunity and eager to begin working with North Gaston student-athletes, coaches, families, and the greater Wildcat community.

As a member of the local community, Mrs. Brown is already familiar with many of the students she will serve, having previously supported them during their middle school athletic careers.

North Gaston administration is currently working with Coach Hoyle and Mrs. Brown to plan a community meet-and-greet event that will provide students, families, staff, alumni, and community members an opportunity to officially welcome the school’s new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach to the Wildcat family. Additional details regarding the event will be shared in the coming weeks.

North Gaston High School is excited about the leadership, experience, and vision both Coach Hoyle and Mrs. Brown bring to the school community and looks forward to the continued growth and success of Wildcat athletics.

North Gaston High School is proud to announce the hiring of Daniel Hoyle as the school’s next Head Football Coach. A native of Rutherford County, North Carolina, Coach Hoyle brings extensive coaching experience and a strong commitment to student-athlete development. He graduated from Catawba College in 2007, where he played collegiate football and also served as a student coach.

Following college, Coach Hoyle returned to his alma mater, R-S Central High School, where he coached football for 10 years. He later served as the Head Football Coach at Chase Middle School for six years and also coached at East Rutherford High School for two seasons. In addition to football, Coach Hoyle previously served as the Head Wrestling Coach at Chase High School.

Coach Hoyle is dedicated to building a football program founded on respect, discipline, and toughness while helping student-athletes achieve success both on and off the field. His vision for North Gaston football emphasizes hard work, accountability, and preparing young men for future success in the classroom, athletics, and life.

“I am committed to the growth and development of my students and athletes,” said Hoyle. “I look forward to leading North Gaston football back to a program built on respect, discipline, and toughness. My goal is to guide young men to be successful in their future endeavors through hard work and dedication in the classroom and on the football field.”

Coach Hoyle and his wife, Brittany, have two children, Seth and Lila. Outside of coaching, he enjoys spending time outdoors and vacationing with his family.
“I want to thank the administration of North Gaston for this opportunity to represent this high school and community,” Hoyle added.

North Gaston High School is excited to welcome Coach Hoyle and his family to the Wildcat community and looks forward to the future of the football program under his leadership.
