This Free Family Friendly event is just ONE WEEK away!! Destination Inspiration at the Inspiration Garden in City of Independence, Oregon , from 10am to 1pm on Saturday June 13th.

All are welcome! Don't miss the Gardening Gift Bag door prize raffle and make sure to snag a Kid's Passport activity with stamps and prizes!

Riparian Walk at 10:30 am with Marc Bell, of Polk Soil & Water Conservation District!

Master Gardener Volunteers will be scattered across the garden, ready to talk plants and answer your gardening questions.

HUGE thank you to The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde 's Native Plant Nursery Supervisor, Jeremy, for an incredible talk and tour of the Grand Ronde Native Plant Nursery. Jeremy's passion for native plants and silviculture are infectious, and the cultural knowledge he shared is invaluable. Our Polk County Master Gardener Volunteers and Trainees thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to learn about and even try some First Foods, such as the yampah (Perideridia oregana) Jeremy is holding in this photo!
