🎹✨ BOCO JUST GOT A LITTLE MORE MUSICAL! Meet Lauren Somante, our newest piano instructor! 💗

Lauren has been playing piano since she was 6 and went on to study classical piano at the University of North Texas College of Music. Since then, she’s expanded into rock, R&B, pop, musical theater, jazz, and more.

She’s toured across the country, performed at SXSW, and will even be hitting the stage at the State Fair of Texas this September! 🎶👏

Lauren brings all of that experience into her lessons with a nurturing approach that helps young musicians build confidence, explore different styles, and discover what they love about making music.

We are SO excited to have Lauren at BOCO! 💗🎹

🥁 Meet the newest beat at BOCO, Josh Willis!
Josh is a Dallas drummer, percussionist, producer, and DJ known for his dynamic rhythm and soulful groove. Performing as Lloyd Have Mercy and collaborating with the LowBrow Collective and Willis Duo, Josh brings a unique mix of live instrumentation, electronic production, and real world performance experience to every lesson.
His impressive background includes resident performances at Revelers Hall and international cultural exchanges through Ethno USA. Now he is bringing that creativity, versatility, and serious musical talent to BOCO!
Whether your student is picking up drumsticks for the first time or ready to grow as a confident percussionist and performer, Josh is here to help them find their rhythm.

We are so excited to officially announce our very first Contemporary Musical Theater Program and our first ever full musical production.

This exciting new program is designed to help young performers become confident, well rounded artists by developing the three essential performance skills every musical theater student needs.

Throughout the season, students will build their skills through engaging classes, scene work, and performance training, all leading up to an incredible live production of Elf Jr.

We're excited to launch BOCO Stage Co™, BOCO's brand-new musical theatre program for the 2026–2027 school year!

Whether your child loves to sing, act, dance, or simply shine on stage, BOCO Stage Co™ offers a fun, supportive environment where young performers can build confidence, develop their skills, and perform in exciting end-of-semester showcases.

✨ Classes by Age:
🎭 Ages 5–7 | Mondays
🎭 Ages 8–12 | Tuesdays
🎭 Ages 13–17 | Wednesdays

Each 15-week semester focuses on acting, vocals, movement, and ensemble performance, culminating in a live showcase for family and friends.
