East Grand Middle School, A Cityscape School EGP is a PreK through 8th-grade free public charter school What is now the East Grand Preparatory school sprang to life in 2006.

We believe that education grows best at the local level, with families and educators working together. Our roots in East Dallas go back 20 years with a mission to serve the under-served living in the shadow of downtown Dallas. In Fall 2014, we located to our exciting, expansive new campus on East Grand Avenue, where we're now able to accommodate more scholars in a richer learning environment than

before. Our historic building, a former church, significantly increases our space, gives us great new resources, and opens up exciting new possibilities. We have added new grade levels in the past school years and plan on continuing our growth in years to come -- while never losing our sense of personal responsibility to each and every student.
