Hoco week day one!

We are officially done with the Gloria Shields Media Workshop!! Thank you to Mrs. Rawls and Mrs. Dwyer for chaperoning us! After learning so much, we are ready to jump straight into planning for next year’s yearbook! Senior de Mayo!!! We are sad to say our seniors had their last Yearbook class on Friday :( We love our senior and can't wait to see the things they will do as they leave Geneva!

It's finally here! We are so excited that our yearbooks have arrived. Our team has worked so incredibly hard all year to produce this beautiful book and we can't wait to share it with you!

Our next senior spotlight is Lilly Kaiser! Lilly has been on the Boardwalk staff for 4 years and is currently the Editor of Photography. Her favorite thing about yearbook is learning to problem solve with a team. Lilly will be attending Texas A&M University and she plans to major in communications.

The 2023-2024 yearbook is complete! We are so proud of our staff for all the hard work and dedication that went into this yearbook! We are celebrating with our annual nap day, a movie, and cookie cake!

Grant Roberson is the next senior executive we are honoring!!

Grant has been on the Boardwalk staff for three years. This is Grant's third year on the sales team and this year he is the executive of sales! Grant's favorite thing about yearbook is learning helpful skills that will benefit him all throughout life. Grant is looking forward to studying finance at Baylor University.

Fun fact: Grant loves to fish 🎣

The next senior executive we are honoring is Ella Sorrells!!

Ella has been on the Boardwalk staff for three years. She was a section editor, schedule manager, and she is now a Co-executive editor-in-chief! Ella's favorite part about yearbook is getting to watch all the hard work pay off at the end of the year. She loves being able to see how everyone grows throughout the year using their creativity for something so special. Ella is planning on majoring in Biology and minoring in nutrition on the pre-med path at Baylor university.

Fun Fact: She has been to 16 national parks

We are half way through February, and you know what that means! Time is almost up to purchase your yearbook!

The first executive we are honoring is Kenzie Cates!!

Kenzie has been on the Boardwalk staff for four years. She was a designer freshman and sophomore year, a section editor and designer junior year and she is now the editor-in- chief! She loves being able to see the creativity and growth that occurs in yearbook. She loves watching spreads come together and seeing how unique each one is. Kenzie will be attending Texas A&M University and will study Public Health to be on track for nursing.

Into to Print & Digital Media, our freshman course feeding into rhetoric school journalism, was lucky to learn from this week on all things photography!
