When I first took my blood test, I found out I had Hyperhomocysteinemia, which is caused by a deficiency of Vitamin B12 and/or Folate(Vitamin B9). This deficiency causes homocysteine to not be converted into its next phase, which uneventually turns into Glutathione, an antioxidant for cells to have a defense against free radicals causing cell death. I was looking to get the B12 injections, because I thought I was so behind since I had an inconsistent year with my finances, so before I got the Injections I told myself, I need to see exactly how deficiency I am in B12 & B9 so I took the test.

As you can see, my Vitamin B12 and Folate(Vitamin B9) levels are not deficiency AT ALL! This gave me the idea to get retested for Homocysteine, and turns out I've actually been reversing the build up. My first test was 16.3, my second test went up to an alarming 18.9, and now it is a 15.3.

From what I researched, Alfalfa herb is rich in Vitamin B12 so I've been taking this in powder form, due to the high Vitamin C this herb allegedly has. Vitamin C is destroyed in heat so taking the powder will preserve it and it's and great antioxidant for the liver and kidneys. I put this powder in my jars after juicing and have been taking it for some time now, this is the one thing I've done more consistent than anything.

I'm going to continue to do this along with herbs to stimulate my kidneys to help repair my liver to improve it functioning. I'll check back after new years and give another update.
