No school today!!!

All Dallas ISD schools will be delayed by two hours on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023. Buses will run two hours later than their regular schedule, and all campus and central teams should report two hours later than their regularly scheduled start time. Classes will start at 11:10 AM, and students will go to their A-Day classes (1st - 5th period). Our student entrances will open at 10:30 AM, and all students are expected to be in their school uniforms and have their clear or mesh backpacks and school IDs visible.

Todas las escuelas de Dallas ISD se retrasarán dos horas el viernes 3 de febrero de 2023. Los autobuses saldrán dos horas más tarde de su horario regular, y todos los equipos centrales y del campus deben presentarse dos horas más tarde de su hora de inicio programada regularmente. Career Institute students are expected to arrive by 8:45 AM at the Competition Gym to check-in.

Dear Parents and Guardians:

The safety and well-being of all students and staff at South Oak Cliff High School is always top of mind. While we live in a world in which unfortunate events occur, our goal is to ensure we have a safe campus where all learners feel secure and protected.

As you know, our campus initiated our safety protocol yesterday, and we thank you for your support and patience during the event.

Out of an abundance of caution, for tonight’s game against Lancaster High School, we are partnering with the Lancaster Police Department to increase law enforcement presence. Lancaster ISD has a clear bag policy for all athletic events. Non-clear bags such as backpacks, f***y packs, totes, camera bags or purses are not allowed. Guests can bring clear tote bags, a plastic storage bag or a small clutch purse.
