This year marks 23 years of Mr. and Mrs. Dickson leading Tiger-Rock Martial Arts and serving families throughout our community.

Mr. Dickson, a 7th Degree Black Belt, and Mrs. Dickson, a 5th Degree Level 2 Black Belt, built this academy with a vision of helping students become stronger not just in martial arts, but in life. Over the past two decades, their leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence have helped shape the culture that makes Tiger-Rock feel like home for so many families.

While you may not see them in the academy every day, their impact can be seen everywhere—from the programs we teach and the values we uphold to the countless students whose lives have been changed through martial arts.

The friendships, confidence, discipline, and sense of community that define our academy today are all part of the foundation they created 23 years ago.

We are proud of every competitor who stepped onto the floor and represented Tiger-Rock with courage, discipline, and determination. The medals are impressive, but the effort, sportsmanship, and character these students displayed are what make us the proudest.

As Cobb County students head back to school on August 3rd and Paulding County students return on August 4th, we're excited to see our Tiger Rock family back together!

While training has continued all summer long, there's something special about the start of a new school year. Old friends reconnect, new friendships begin, and students come together to encourage each other both on and off the mat.

At Tiger Rock, students don't just learn martial arts—they become part of a community. The friendships built here are rooted in teamwork, respect, shared challenges, and celebrating each other's successes.

As a reminder, we are closed Wednesday through Saturday this week for Nationals in Huntsville, AL! Good luck to our amazing students who will be competing! We look forward to seeing everyone on the 20th when we are back to our normal class schedule.
