Introducing our Graduating Class of 2024! Several of these students have been for 10+ years and we have loved watching them grow. Our graduates have big plans: 2 of them are going to college programs, multiple students are joining our STAR young adult program, and some will be seeking employment! We are excited to see what the next chapter holds for them, but we know they are well prepared! Congratulations graduates - we are so proud of you! 💙🎓💛

Yesterday, our students celebrated May Crowning! This is a Catholic tradition to honor Mary, our mother, during the month of May. This lovely devotional ceremony is a favorite tradition of ours, especially because our school’s name means “Our Lady.” The May Crowning reminds us to give thanks to Mary for bringing our Savior into the world!

Today we celebrated Ash Wednesday with a beautiful Mass. Ash Wednesday marks the start of the holy season of Lent. Our students will use the Lenten season to align themselves with Jesus’ journey and prepare their hearts for Easter, the celebration of his resurrection. ✝️

Notre Dame School educates students with developmental disabilities and facilitates their integration into society. For over fifty years this mission statement has guided the Notre Dame School as it has served as a unique educational resource in Dallas. The school is the only school exclusively devoted to educating students with developmental disabilities. The school’s individualized curriculum ensures that each child’s needs are met in a caring and appropriate way. The curriculum is designed to meet the unique social, academic and vocational needs of each student. The school currently serves 160 students grouped according to age and ability. Each child is challenged to reach their potential in a supportive environment with experienced staff.
