Meadow Oaks Montessori

Meadow Oaks Montessori Meadow Oaks Montessori School opened in the fall of 2020. We are currently enrolling children ages 3 months - 6 years old.

Our school is located inside the same building as PTAA Charter school (K-8th grade) at Hillcrest & Arapaho in Dallas. We offer full time and part-time programs to accommodate a variety of schedules.

An in-person event at Meadow Oaks Montessori—Join us on August 27th for our first Parent Education Night of the season.
It’s a chance to connect with our staff and learn about the benefits of including Montessori philosophy at school and at home.
We open the table for important conversations among the families raising young children our North Dallas community. This time we’re discussing “gentle parenting”, the philosophy behind it, and where it falls short.
For the families joining us for the first time and those that are back for another year, we are so thankful that you've chosen to be with us at Meadow Oaks Montessori.

Most Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms are built around a single pace for every child in the room. The Montessori Primary program is built differently — each child works with materials matched to where they are, not where the calendar says they should be.

A child who's ready to move ahead in math isn't held back. A child who needs more time with early literacy isn't left behind. Individualized instruction isn't a slogan here — it's the daily structure of the classroom.

For families who've noticed their child needs more room to work at their own pace, this is worth a look. Schedule a private tour of our school.

Montessori materials are built to do two things at once: hold a child's attention, and teach a concept precisely.

Take the Golden Beads — a hands-on introduction to place value that a three-year-old can touch and a six-year-old can use to work through real arithmetic.

Or the Sandpaper Letters, which let a child feel the shape of a letter before they're ever asked to write it.

Nothing here is arbitrary. Each material builds on the one before it, so a child's progress feels less like moving to "the next thing" and more like continuing a single, coherent path — one that balances play, nurturing, and a genuine foundation in math and literacy.

Whether your child is just starting or you're reconsidering where they landed, that path is still open.

Come see the materials for yourself — schedule a tour.

Ms. Prachi is a beloved Lead Guide, where she works with students ages 3 to 6 in our primary program. Ms. Prachi’s dedication to Montessori philosophy began with her experience as a parent, having chosen a Montessori school for her own daughter, and has been deepened through her AMS certification and 12 years of classroom experience. She shares her enthusiasm for mathematics, outer space, and exploring our world, with the children one lesson at a time. The concrete materials in her carefully prepared Montessori classroom are one of her favorite aspects of being a Montessori educator. We’re so appreciative of her dedication to our school and the families in North Dallas who have chosen Meadow Oaks Montessori.

New year, new steps. Some children are walking through our doors for the first time. Others are moving from NIDO into the Waddler room, or from Waddler into Primary — new teachers, new materials, a new pace to learn.

It's okay if that feels big. It's okay if your little one clings a little longer at drop-off, or if you do too.
Our guides aren't nervous. They've walked children through this exact transition many times, and they know how to make it feel steady rather than sudden. Unhurried, and with your child every step.

New to Meadow Oaks or moving up a room this year — we're ready for you!

How confident are you in your child's daycare at preparing them for the road ahead?

A warm, caring environment matters — and if your child has that now, you may hesitate to disrupt it. But warmth and academic preparation aren't a trade-off. At Meadow Oaks Montessori, they're built together.

Our Primary program pairs a nurturing, consistent environment with a deliberate focus on early math and literacy, guided by tenured Montessori educators who know how to introduce these concepts at the right moment for each child.

If your child is thriving emotionally but you're wondering what's next academically, that's exactly the conversation we're prepared to have.

When children move into our primary classrooms, the first few weeks are unhurried. We don't rush the orientation, because the relationship between a child and their environment takes time to develop.

Our primary guides introduce the environment with patience and intention, encouraging each child to go at their own pace.

Come see how it all begins—Schedule a tour of Meadow Oaks Montessori.

Children who complete the primary cycle don't just enter first grade knowing how to read. They enter knowing how to work — how to focus, persist, and manage themselves. These are the foundations that determine long-term success.

Enrollment for our fall cycle is now open. Request more information at our link in bio.

Last week our primary students went all-in exploring music. Learning about genres, understanding sound waves, composing songs, and hands-on time with piano. Each day was an opportunity to feel the music. 🎶
