Did you know the story behind Star Wars is deeply rooted in real history? Creator George Lucas drew inspiration from World War II aerial combat—especially the fast-paced dogfights between Allied and Axis pilots.

Even the Millennium Falcon cockpit has real-world roots. Its design was inspired by the iconic window design of the B-29 Superfortress.

And that’s just the beginning! If you want to learn more check out this episode of CAF Warbird Tube!
