🎉Congratulations to the newest member of the Frederick Douglass TEAM, Ms. Myosha Patterson. Although this will be her first year as an Assistant Principal, she is not a stranger to Douglass. Ms. Patterson served at Douglass as the Lead Literacy Interventionist during the 24-25 school year. She has worked in Dallas ISD for several years as a teacher and dyslexia interventionist. Ms. Patterson said she is ready to "MAXIMIZE THE POTENTIAL" of all the teachers, staff, and students this school year.

Campus will be closed Thursday, January 9 and Friday, January 10 due to inclement weather conditions. Stay safe and warm Douglass family.

After careful consideration for anticipated road conditions and extreme temperatures, all Dallas ISD schools and offices will be closed 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝗮𝗻. 𝟵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝗮𝗻. 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

After-school activities and athletic events for these days are canceled, and details will be shared when activities will resume.
More information will be provided later if makeup days are needed.
