Your acrylic can't look clean if your bead isn't right. Dry bead: equal liquid + powder. Great Control, but can get crumbly if too dry. Medium bead: the "just right" bead for most sets because it's balanced. Wet bead: more liquid than powder. It can run and flood if you're not careful. A perfect bead is round and shiny and it settles but doesn't run. Pro tip: Don't re-wet your brush while working-changing the mix ratio can cause lifting/breakdown and increase irritation risk. Dip powder is more than a powder. It is a resin+ powder base to create a strong lasting set. People love the different color options and the short application process. A tip would be to always clean your brush. You can always achieve a clean strong look when you understand what behind the product and how to work it the proper way. I started by researching how to store common nail salon chemicals, and which ones can not be stored with each other. It looks to me like as long as I'm not opening up my salon to include hair or skin services the nail products and cleaning products storage is pretty common sense, that the main chemicals to be vigilant about are bleach, ammonia, and vinegar. Hair chemicals are a different story, but I'm 10,000% positive that I'm keeping my nail salon strictly a nail salon and will never offer hair services or skin services. I'm thankful for this chapter still even though it's pretty hair and SKin focused, because i now have it on my radar all of the extra precautions and knowledge that I would need if I ever DID decide to try to expand the services offered to include skin or hair, like if I were to rent out the back room of my salon to someone who does hair.
