One of the most special parts of our classes is getting to watch families connect through music, movement, play, and shared experiences together each week. Grandparents, moms, dads, siblings, caregivers, and little ones all singing, dancing, learning, and growing side by side.

Our classes are about so much more than music. They’re about community, confidence, creativity, and making joyful memories together 🌎✨

We had to make one small correction to the schedule: our Wednesday Advanced Class at Lake Highlands Studio will begin on May 27th, NOT June 6th.

Tomorrow is the final Forest Hills class of our current session! 🌈🎶 We’ve loved spending our Fridays making music, moving, singing, and playing together with all these sweet little ones.

We’ll be taking next week off, and our Summer Session will begin on May 29th! Classes will continue outdoors with all the favorite props, instruments, songs, and summer fun ☀️

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms, grandmas, caregivers, and grownups who sing, dance, shake instruments, sit on the floor, and make music alongside their little ones every week 💛🎶

One of the best parts of these classes is how music becomes something shared between families. Whether it’s helping keep a steady beat, singing together, or just being present and playful with your child, those moments matter so much.

And on a personal note, I want to wish a very special Mother’s Day to my own mom, Ms. Kathy herself. I love you so much, and I truly would not be the person, teacher, or musician I am today without you. You shaped me into the musical and confident woman I’ve become, and I’m endlessly grateful for all the love, encouragement, creativity, and music you gave me growing up. I feel so lucky to be able to work with you at Kathy’s Music and Movement💕

Summer registration is officially open for Singing in the Garden ☀️🎶

We’ll be offering classes in Lake Highlands, Richardson, Forest Hills, Oak Cliff, and our Advanced Class at the Lake Highlands Studio this summer!

Our classes focus on singing, movement, instrument exploration, rhythm, creativity, and early music learning in a playful and welcoming environment for little ones and their grownups 💛

Please note: classes will only run if enough families enroll, so for now, please sign up to reserve your spot but hold off on payment until your class officially makes.

Our Advanced Class is designed for older preschoolers and kindergarten-aged children who are ready for a little more musical structure while still keeping the play, creativity, and movement that make early childhood music so special 🎶

We explore rhythm, pitch, musical form, instruments, beginning music literacy, and collaborative music making in a hands-on and age-appropriate way.

Our next 5-week session begins May 27th at our Lake Highlands Studio ✨
Space is very limited in this class.
