During musical season, I had the amazing privilege of working with not one, but TWO versions of Wizard of Oz! I wanted to brag on these students for a bit…

I’m so proud of my girls Harper Brodt (Scarecrow) and Holland Brodt (Toto) for working so hard week after week on their solos and taking their voices seriously. Harper even had to learn how to sing after being sick—No one could even tell she was under the weather with how well she carried herself! Both of them are so eager to learn and have grown so much in confidence and awareness of their voices. I can’t wait to see how much their voices develop this year! So proud of you guys!

Elly Hyde (video and second picture) played the scarecrow at her school and blew everyone away with her ability to manipulate her voice for her character. She not only made us all laugh but she showed her friends and family another side of her voice. Proud of you!

[STUDENT SPOTLIGHT] I’m so proud of Grace! She played the role of Auntie Em in her school production of Wizard of Oz and crushed it. She has put in so much work in her voice over the past year and it has definitely paid off! She has such a rich tone and vibrato that is breathtaking. She is so incredibly gifted and talented. I’m so excited to see her grow more and more!
