Hi friends! Quick question for moms of 3-5 year olds:
Do you ever wonder if your child is really ready for kindergarten? I’m putting together a few FREE Kindergarten Readiness Checks this week for parents who want a simple snapshot of where their child is right now.
Our FREE Kindergarten Readiness Checks will be held on Zoom and only take about 10 minutes. During our time together, I’ll play a few simple learning games with your child so I can see their early letters, numbers, listening skills, confidence, and kindergarten readiness.
This is perfect if your child is:
- 3-5 years old
- Starting kindergarten soon
- Not in preschool yet
- Shy or nervous around other kids
- Still learning letters, numbers, or routines
- Needing more structure at home

Happy Mother's Day Weekend

The discussion this week was centered on flies and mosquitoes 🦟. The Book Read: Backyard Bugs. We used a magnifying glass to examine a fly, then discussed fly traps, explored the trap's texture, and Eleanor placed flies on the trap.

Good afternoon. Today's discussion centered on the weather. We began with rain and actively experienced it through jumping, hopping, and dancing in puddles. We examined the source of rain and its temperature, determining whether it was hot, cold, or warm. We participated in the rhyme Rain, Rain, Go Away, identifying rhyming words, and also matched letters and weather-related items.

Pretend play is essential for child development. It activates key neurological processes and boosts language, problem-solving, and cognitive skills. Ezra cook and feed me in the process of us naming the fruits, veggies and bread that he were preparing.
