Savannah Dieste, a fourth-year doctoral student in UT Southwestern’s Clinical Psychology program, studies how trauma exposure and family dynamics influence treatment outcomes for adolescents experiencing depression and suicidal thoughts.
Her commitment to research, student well-being, and service to vulnerable communities earned her the 2026 Ida M. Green Award. Through her work, Savannah hopes to help clinicians provide more personalized assessment, intervention, and care.
