Our little Toppers celebrated Earth 🌍 Day all week with an interactive STEM project 🥢🍡to show how they can build a structure 🛕strong enough to save animals during an earthquake.

Did you know? 🧠
Human-induced earthquakes, or induced seismicity, are tremors caused by human activities that alter stresses and fluid pressure on pre-existing faults.

Common causes include:
💉wastewater injection from oil/gas production
⛏️mining,
🏗️hydraulic fracturing (fracking),
🚧large dam construction.

So, let’s be kind to the Earth, and it will be kind to you.

🥳 Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss 🥳

March 2nd, kicked off the week celebrating birthday 🎉 with tons of educational activities to make learning fun. 🤩

Students were able to dress up as their favorite character🐈‍⬛🎩, write their own wacky rhymes, 🤪 and read 📖fun facts about Dr. Seuss while hunting 🔎for clues and candy 🍭across the room.

His birthday marks the start of READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK! Please be sure your student is reading at least 30 mins each day. ⏳

🏆STUDENT OF THE MONTH🏆

would like to congratulate 🥳 SEAN (5th grader) for being our 1st Student of the Month of 2026. 👏👏👏

When we think 💭 of a model student 👨🏾‍🎓 , Sean immediately comes to mind. Sean is ALWAYS excited 😬 to start his tutoring sessions, greeting his tutor at the door 🚪. He is open to learning 🧠 different strategies and ALWAYS takes notes 📝 in every session. Ms. Ashley can challenge Sean with next grade level problems and he will accept every obstacle.

In January, Sean not only had to maintain his school work, but also prepare for entry exams and essays into middle school. Each session, Sean approached it with a positive outlook 🤩 regardless of the workload given. Because of his hard work, Sean maintained his 🅰️honor status in school and has received 3 out of 4 acceptance letters for middle school, with one pending still. 🤞🏾

Thank you 🫶🏽 Sean for making each tutoring session enjoyable and easy for Ms. Ashley. Continue to be the brilliant 🙂, charismatic student that you are.

Part 2

With the school closings extended, that means the kids will be home 🏠 for a few extra days.

Here are a few of our favorite activities:
1. Read aloud 📚acting 🎬
Pick a story that everyone can enjoy, allow each person to be a character and act out the scenes in the story. Watch how everyone brings the story to life.

2.Puzzling 🧩
Family members of all ages can enjoy building a puzzle together. Think of different strategies to try to complete the puzzle before the snow starts to melt. Exercise your brain 🧠

3. Indoor Scavenger 👀 Hunt
I spy 🕵️ with my little eye 👁️. Create a theme, call out different items for everyone to search around the house. First one to find the item is the winner. Make it interesting by calling friends on FaceTime and do house 🏠 vs house 🏠

4. ❤️ Daily Trivia ⁉️❤️
My favorite activity to do is daily trivia on TV 📺. Try to see who can answer the most questions correctly for bragging rights of THE SMARTEST 🤓 PERSON in the house.
