Dakota #201 Literacy Garden The Literacy Garden is a book themed outdoor classroom designed to nurture a love of reading. The space also honors the memory of those who have passed.

We aim to provide activities that develop close connections between home, school, and community.

And we have a cement pad. 😊Who knew there were so many steps to creating a cement pad: measuring and building forms, excavating the site, setting the forms, adding the gravel base, placing the wire mesh and rebar, figuring how much concrete to order, (math problem coming soon kids), pouring, leveling, smoothing, edging, cutting control joints, brushing. 😅Who knew? Thanks, Gacob Lenox and crew. It's looking great! Now we sit back and wait for the gazebo to arrive.
