This past drill Delta Company began practicing for PAW (Parent Alumni Weekend). PAW weekend is April 19-21 and are a series of events that are designed to pay tribute/respect to graduating seniors, outstanding cadets in the corps, alumni, and alumni who have passed away. It is a very important tradition in the Corps and is done yearly. A full schedule of this weekend’s events can be found on the UNG webpage. Come watch and support as Delta Company participates in a full on Military Pass and Review.

During the first week of March Delta company completed the Corps FTX. Within this weekend they put all the skills they've learned this semester to the test. They completed three lanes that emphasized skills such as raids, ambushes, and reaction to contact. All in all Delta company did very well. Death From Above!

Cadet 1SGT Cole Gregory is the First Sergeant of Delta Company and is our highlighted cadet for this week. He current lives in Jefferson Georgia but was born at Fort Benning Georgia. He has lived on three continents due to his father being in the military. His father is Bradley Clark and mother is Linda Ann, which continually support him in his endeavors to become an officer. He is the commander for Ranger Challenge and a member of Scabbard and Blade Military Honors Society and proudly boasts a 300 plus PT score. He is a brother with Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and is a Business and Marketing major and has made the Dean’s list numerous times. He plans the graduate in December 2014 and either wants to commission into the Armored, Artillery, or Aviation branch in the Army. In his spare time he said he would like to walk the Appalachian Trail to Maine. He is a valued member of the Corps and to his company and that is why he is out Cadet Highlight of the week.

In the Corps every cadet is expected to do PT three times a week. Every PT session strictly follows the U.S. Army standard to insure that each cadet get the proper work out, and to ensure safety.

This past Monday at our weekly lab Delta Company was practicing battle drills for the upcoming Corps FTX at the end of this month. These are just a view snap shots of out cadets in action.
