HAPPY EARTH DAY ! What a beautiful day for Earth Day ! I started my morning with a medicinal herb walk with a lovely couple from Texas. We covered over 50 wild-herbs-medicinals and it is early so the viewing (smelling and tasting), only gets better as the summer moves forward !
A little sad when I got back home, I always told Gary all about the walks. But I put on my garden hat and went back out into the gardens...it is Earth Day ! I planted, seeded, weeded and before I knew it, the beauty of the earth had absorbed my sadness and turned my mood into gladness and joy.
Give something back to mother earth today...plant a plant, tree, go for a walk or just sit and take in the sun and whisper, "thank you", to all the beauty, nourishment, medicines and joy she provides us with.
