We've created a Facebook community group for the Ottawa/Gatineau region. We will provide info on events that are taking place in the area on that page, and we hope that you guys can share any inside info you might have of cool things happening as well.

What do you do when youre new to a city and want somethingtodo? Do you check the tourism websites for attractions to visit? Do you join a meetup group? Do you just stay at the Hotel and maybe visit the nearby restaurant? Its hard to find fun activities outside of the commonly known destinations. We'd love to hear about how you handle it.

Hello everybody!
Our company is all about togetherness, we believe that everyone should have friendships that matter, and that having quality friends who share your interests is integral to living a fulfilling life.
To help bring people together our website lists interesting activities occurring at venues in the area, and allows people to create events at those venues, for people with the same interest to join.
The idea behind the logo is that we are all reaching towards our interest and finding someone with the same interest is an opportunity for friendship.

We're trying to find a way to invite friends from facebook directly to events on Something2do. We would have liked to have been able to import the Facebook friends list, but it seems like we will have to do it another way. If anyone has any experience doing this we would love to hear about it.
