Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people?
Alabama 4-H is now seeking applicants for the 2026-2027 Alabama 4-H AmeriCorps Program, and we're excited that Tallapoosa County has been selected as one of only 10 sites across Alabama to host a 4-H AmeriCorps member!

As a 4-H AmeriCorps member, you'll help deliver hands-on educational programs for youth in grades 4-12, focusing on:
πŸ”¬ STEM Education
πŸ’Ό Workforce Readiness
πŸ’š Healthy Living

πŸ“… Term of Service: October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2027
⏰ Commitment: Full-time, 12-month service position (1,700 hours)

We're so excited to announce that Tallapoosa County has been selected as one of only ten sites across the state to host an Alabama 4-H AmeriCorps educator!

4-H AmeriCorps members help deliver high-quality youth development opportunities to communities across Alabama. They engage with Alabama 4-H youth in grades 4-12 to deliver hands-on educational programming focused on STEM, workforce readiness and healthy living. This year-long program offers its members great benefits and a flexible schedule!
