Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people?
Alabama 4-H is now seeking applicants for the 2026-2027 Alabama 4-H AmeriCorps Program, and we're excited that Tallapoosa County has been selected as one of only 10 sites across Alabama to host a 4-H AmeriCorps member!

As a 4-H AmeriCorps member, you'll help deliver hands-on educational programs for youth in grades 4-12, focusing on:
🔬 STEM Education
💼 Workforce Readiness
💚 Healthy Living

📅 Term of Service: October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2027
⏰ Commitment: Full-time, 12-month service position (1,700 hours)
💵 Benefits: Monthly living allowance and valuable professional experience

Only one AmeriCorps member will be placed in each participating county, and Tallapoosa County is proud to be one of this year's host sites!
