Another welcome goes to Christine Rusu, our K4 teacher on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Her family has been part of the Oak Hill community for the past three years, and she’s loved serving as a substitute teacher. She graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Finance and worked in the mortgage industry before transitioning to education. She and her husband, Dan, have three children: Elliott (3rd), Evy (1st), and Eloise (K4), along with their 12-year-old Goldendoodle, Emma. Christine enjoys spending time with family, playing piano at church, being outdoors, camping, and crafting.
We asked her:
🖍️What is currently bringing you joy? I find so much joy in weekends spent with loved ones, long car rides singing gospel songs with all our hearts, and any opportunity to be outdoors.
🖍️What scripture is encouraging to you right now? Jeremiah 29:11 and Matthew 24:44 remind me that God holds my future, so I can trust His plans while living each day with purpose and readiness for Christ’s return.
🖍️What excites you about working at Oak Hill? What excites me most about teaching at Oak Hill is the opportunity to pour into these little hearts, helping them grow in their love of learning while pointing them to Christ each day.
