Welcome to our newest additions! 🐥✨

Our first graders have spent this semester becoming true bird experts. Not only have they been studying bird anatomy and habitats through their EL literacy modules, but they were also joined by Dr. Karen Grogan from the University of Georgia to learn exactly how chickens are hatched and raised.

Our learning reached new heights this year as we watched baby quails and chickens grow in their incubators and finally hatch! We're still waiting on the quail chicks to leave their eggs. Our students have had the opportunity to watch the "bird cam" as we live stream the incubation process school-wide.

A huge thank you to our first-grade team for their dedication to bringing this project to life and making learning so hands-on for our students. 🦅🎓

Our Kindergarteners officially wrapped up their EL Module 4 Tree Project! Last week’s presentation day was the perfect showcase of their craftsmanship and hard work. It’s amazing to see how much these little experts have branched out this semester! 🍃 👏Thank you to all the loved ones who came to support our Kindergarteners.

Last week was filled with field trip fun for our Kindergarteners and second graders! Our kindergarteners went to INK children’s museum where they explored a kid sized town, roleplayed as pilots and vets, and used their imaginations through hands-on, interactive play. ✈️🩺🏥

The second graders enjoyed a day at Washington Farms, playing in the corn box, picking strawberries and participating in other farm fun activities. 🚜🍓🌽

Great job to our students who were on their best behavior and made the most out of these learning experiences!
