Looking for an elective that’s more than just a class? Library Science is a year-long elective and library aide position where students work in the DHS Media Center, support teachers and students, and represent the library staff.

You’ll learn how the library runs, help with daily operations, promote reading, and play a real role in our school community. This class is perfect for students who are mature, responsible, self-motivated, and ready to show up—attendance matters!

📌 Application, brief interview, three teacher recommendations, and a strong attendance record required.

It's time for Take 5! The Dacula High School Media Center is excited to offer our summer Take 5 program again. If your account is in good standing (no fines, no damages, etc.), you can fill out the Google Form at the link in our bio to sign up for Take 5! This form asks for your acknowledgement of the responsibility of checking books out over the summer. Next week, you will be able to check out your 5 books, which will be due on August 9!

ALL BOOKS ARE DUE THIS FRIDAY, MAY 9TH! If you have any Dacula High School library books, please return them ASAP! Stay tuned for more information about Summer Take 5!

It’s Senior Letter time!! Don’t wait too long to start writing your Senior Letters (they’re due the Wednesday after Spring Break). We have a Senior Letter Station set up in the Media Center with paper, pens & pencils, and envelopes to equip you to celebrate our seniors. Sign up for a lunchtime visit on Student Support Time or swing by before/after school to take advantage of this station!
