Day #13
Pizza jack a lanterns
Roll out pizza dough. Cut with pumpkin cookie cutter.
You can either cook the dough and dress like a lunchable or dress your pizza and bake.

Mummy hot dogs
Cut cresent roll dough into strips. Wrap hot dog. Bake.

Bone bread sticks
Roll out pizza dough. Use bone cookie cutter. Top with cheese. Bake

It's OK if you don't do all the Holiday foods or things. If you missed the corn maze or didn't find the best costume or one at all.

Halloween in the 90s we went with pillow cases for candy, and would make up Our own costumes last min. Our Moms didn't make mummy hot dogs or hocus pocus brownies.

I do now because I love it. I enjoy it but even I get burned out.

I love making Holiday foods, through out the month but sometimes even I don't have time depending on how my day goes on the actual Holiday.

What am I making Tomorrow?.. I don't know yet, might be fun Halloween treat or might just be pizza depends on my mental health and sanity come Tomorrow.

Just wanna be honest that food vloggers love sharing ideas, and We enjoy them throughout the month but sometimes even we just do simple or what works.

If you feel guilty, stressed, or overwhelmed.

I understand. And it will still be a magical Holiday for your kids no matter your budget or meal.

I just hope everyone has something to eat, gets alot of candy, enjoys a Reese's from their kids bucket for safety check and We will have more fun planning the next Holidays to come!

13 Meals of Halloween
Day 12: Spooktackular Taco Soup

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion diced
1 can of rotel
32oz of broth
2 cans red beans
2 cans black beans
1 can pinto beans
1 can of corn
1 packet taco seasoning
1 packet of ranch seasoning
2 TBS of tomato paste
Shredded Cheese
Tortillas

Brown ground beef in soup pot.
Drain extra fat. Do not rinse. Just drain excessive fat.
Sautee onions and rotel in the meat until onions translucent.
Add broth, beans, corn and seasoning packets.
Bring to a boil
Add tomato paste. Stir until mixed in completely.

For chips use Halloween cookie cutters to cut tortillas. Coat with olive oil and favorite southwest seasoning. We used Ms. DASH SouthWest. Bake at 350f for 5 minutes.

Top soup with shredded cheese and chips.

Day 11: Snake Sub
Get French bread cut it diagonally. Rotate the cuts to create a zig zag. Fill as desired.

Day 10: Hotdog worms and toxic mac n cheese
Cut the hotdogs in quarters. Boil them until they curl. Drain and mix in BBQ sauce. Serve on a hamburger bun.
Add dye to mac n cheese. I'll explore other dye free ways to alter mac n cheese in the future.

Day 9: Stuffed Pepper Faces
I had 3 green bell peppers, 1 red, 1 yellow and 1 orange. I filled with a frozen jambalaya mix. Baked in the oven at 375 for 40 minutes. Make sure you pour water in the pan to get those peppers nice and steamed.

Day 8: Graveyard Enchiladas

Day 7: Cinnamon roll intestines and deviled egg eyes
Get 2 cans of cinnamon rolls. Unrollthe cinnamon rolls and squiggle them around. Follow the baking instructions on the can. Take the frosting use your favorite red jelly to make it red or use red food coloring.
Boil eggs. Take a knife to tap on the egg to crack them. Place in a gallon back with 3 tablespoons of water and a few drops of whichever food coloring you desire. I used black and purple. Then make deviled eggs using your favorite recipe.

Day 6: Buffalo Chicken Ranch Witch Handpies
Roll out some pizza dough. Cut into triangles.

Mix together some shredded chicken, one 8oz cream cheese, green onions, powdered ranch pack and 12 chopped slices of bacon.

Fill the triangles. Paint the edges with egg wash. Fold. Seal with a fork. Paint the outside with egg wash.

I had used extra strips of dough to make the hat belt.

Bake at 375 until the dough is golden.

Day 5: Pot Pie Skelliton
Pie crust. Shredded rotisserie chicken. 1lb bag of frozen veggies. Can of cream of chicken soup. Seasonings as desired.
Mix the shredded chicken, veggies, soup and seasonings together. Top with a pie crust. Use a knife to cut out the face. Bale at 375 until crust is golden.
