Warner Elementary Scholarship Opportunity

Parents:
If you have a senior at Cy Ranch HS who attended Warner Elementary, please make sure they know about the Warner Scholarship. This is a Warner Student Council/PTO-sponsored project. Deadline to apply is April 17th . Your Senior may pick up an application in the Counseling office at Cypress Ranch High School or they may email Warner Elementary at [email protected].

DUAL CREDIT - FINAL PAYMENT DEADLINE

The FINAL payment deadline for Dual Credit courses is Wednesday, Jan. 10th. If payment is not received by that date, you will be DROPPED from your DC classes. Don't delay, pay TODAY!

NOTE: If you were a student on the Free/Reduced Lunch Program anytime during the previous 4 school years, your dual credit fees are covered so no action is required!

As you're preparing for the Friday, August 1st opening of most college applications, please make note of this amazing opportunity to save on college application fees for all In-State, Public Colleges or Universities if you apply through www.ApplyTexas.org. Apply Texas is offering a Free College Application Week Oct. 13-19, 2025.

NOTE: Waiting isn't always the best option. Know your college or universities' deadlines! For example, UT-Austin has an Early Action deadline of Oct. 15th but they offer until Oct. 23rd for you to complete your admissions file with all other required materials. Texas A&M Engineering-College Station also has an Early Action deadline of Oct. 15th but your admissions file must be 100% complete by that date. Plan accordingly!

The 2025-2026 Free and Reduced Lunch Application is now available on Schoolcafe.com. All applications prior to July 15, 2025, will no longer be valid after the first 30 school days (September 24th).

Applications need to be completed each school year, and we encourage you to complete this year’s application now. The application can be completed electronically at www.schoolcafe.com (users will need to sign into an existing School Cafe account or create a new one).
