We get many inquiries about if we offer lessons, and the answer is, yes! Our lesson program is only possible because we have a barn full of special horses and ponies owned by very generous clients willing to share. Meaning we are more of a lesson boutique than program.

We are nearing a waitlist status for adults, but still have some availability for kids. Preference of course to those interested in eventing, but we are just happy to facilitate learning a new skill, and give stinky cute ponies (like Phantom here) a job!

Our fearless leader taking on 3 horses in an amazing clinic this past weekend! Laura has spent every possible opportunity to stay fit and get back in the saddle ready for the spring season despite her minor setback last fall.

We are so excited for our season of educational clinics and successful shows with a great team of boarders in the barn!

Brooks on Santa watch here at StarBrooks!! We have the runway ready for Rudolph and the reindeer!!

Santa… will you please bring us an air conditioned viewing platform and lounge for Christmas? All of our ponies made the nice list!

Starbrooks welcomed 5* eventer and New Zealand national team rider, Monica Spencer to the barn this past weekend. Despite the EHV outbreak, which limited our initial numbers, all of our boarders took advantage of the opportunity to get private, focused instruction from Monica. We so enjoyed her precise, upbeat teaching style with horses ranging all the way from the 3* level to our greenies.

Day one began with poles, gymnastics, and a lot of fog! Each horse and rider pair were able to work on their rideability as a team. Which, served them well on day two, where freezing wind did not stop the work in the field! Monica put together a completely new cross country course to challenge our riders.

We are already looking forward to her next visit to StarBrooks early 2026.
