Our library volunteers help with things like:
📚 Shelving & organizing books
🔖 Assisting with check-in/check-out
💻 Helping with library projects
🐾 Supporting special activities

Whether you can volunteer weekly, monthly, or just when your schedule allows, we’d LOVE to have you join our library team!

September is shaping up to be a busy month at Byrd, and we have a few opportunities for our amazing VIPS volunteers to get involved! 🩵💛

👂👀 Vision & Hearing Screenings�We’re still looking for 4 more volunteers to train for the hearing screenings.

🛍️ Byrd Boutique�The Byrd Boutique is Back, and we need volunteers to help during lunch hours! This is a fun way to spend your lunch break helping our Bobcats shop, learn, and have a little fun. 🛒🐾

We are back and happy to share love to our Byrd Elementary Employees for all they do… Huge shout out to Deb Arnold and FULL circle TEXAS for being our Sponsors for the Month of August!

👂 Hearing Screening Volunteers Needed! 👂

Hearing screenings will take place at Byrd on September 15 & 16 during Large Group, and we would LOVE to have 5–6 parents trained in hearing screening to assist!

In order to volunteer for the screenings, you must complete the required VIPS Hearing Training Class.

The hearing screening volunteers will be needed 9:00 AM–3:00 PM on September 15 & 16, with a 30-minute break at noon.
