✨Meet the team Monday!✨
Hi! My name is Amber Fielding, and I am an Assistant at Class 101-Cypress. I relocated to Cypress from California over twenty years ago. Both my children were born here and attend or graduated from CFISD schools. After volunteering for many years with the school district, I was hired in the Attendance Office at Bridgeland High School, where I worked for seven years. My prior experience includes working in admissions and career services at a private art college. I earned a B.S. in Marketing from San Diego State University. My daughter currently attends Texas Tech University, and my son is a junior at Bridgeland High School. I am so excited to be joining the Class 101-Cypress team. I share their passion for helping students succeed in high school, explore interests, and prepare for college.

We wish all of our students good luck in the new school year. We hope our 2027 seniors enjoy their last year of high school and continue to work hard through the college application process. We also wish our former students starting college good luck on their first semester while adjusting to the new curriculum and living situation. Let’s make this year a great one!

We recently visited Rollins College, a small private liberal arts college nestled in the heart of Winter Park. The campus carries a unique legacy because it was once home to Fred Rogers, and campus reflects many of the same values he was known for: kindness, community, and a strong emphasis on service.
Rollins offers a beautiful, serene setting, with greenery, distinctive architecture, and the shores of Lake Virginia just steps away. The surrounding Winter Park area adds to the experience, blending a small-town feel with local shops and restaurants while still providing easy access to the energy and opportunities of nearby Orlando.
We’re grateful to the Visitors Center staff Rollins College and our tour guides for their time and for creating such a warm, memorable, and engaging campus visit.

Our team had the opportunity to tour Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona Beach Campus (ERAU), widely regarded as one of the premier aviation and aerospace universities in the world. One of the highlights of the visit was reconnecting with a former Class 101 student who is now studying Uncrewed Aircraft System (a full-circle moment that brought the experience to life).
A standout part of the tour was observing the Air Traffic Control Simulator, where students were actively managing flight patterns, coordinating runway traffic, monitoring weather conditions, and communicating seamlessly to ensure safety and efficiency. It was an impressive glimpse into the real-world training ERAU provides.
From the runway shared with Daytona Beach International Airport to the jet engine maintenance facilities, the university’s commitment to hands-on, immersive learning is unmistakable. Every aspect of the campus reinforces practical experience and industry readiness.
While ERAU is more specialized and has a smaller student population, it offers extensive resources, cutting-edge facilities, and a deeply passionate academic community. Students are highly engaged in their fields while maintaining a collaborative, welcoming, and energetic campus culture. It is clear why ERAU has earned the nickname “Harvard of the Skies.”
We’re grateful to the Visitors Center staff and our tour guides for their time, insight, and for delivering such an engaging and memorable campus experience.

We had an incredible time last week at our annual conference where we had the opportunity to reconnect in-person with fellow Class 101 owners to collaborate in workshops and tour local universities.
We’re also humbled to receive an award honoring the hard work of our dedicated team. This recognition wouldn’t be possible without the trust of our clients. We’re truly grateful to all of you for allowing us to be a part of your family’s journey.
