Our 9th Grade Algebra I students love taking their learning to the board! ✏️📐 Working problems together gives students the opportunity to collaborate, learn from one another, and receive instant feedback, all while getting up, moving around, and keeping their brains engaged. We love seeing active learning in action! 💙

We loved celebrating Mrs. Allen on her birthday! 🎉💐 Thank you to our families for your generous contributions and for helping make her day so special. From thoughtful gifts to sweet, handmade cards from her students, she was definitely showered with love! 💗

🐾❤️ Meet Our Patriot Pup of the Month! ❤️🐾

Congratulations to Sandy Pebble, the adorable 4-year-old Goldendoodle belonging to Covenant students Caleb and Derek Eagar!

Sandy loves chicken, walks, naps, chasing lizards and butterfly shadows, and greeting her Covenant friends in the car line. She also enjoys relaxing on the pool shelf, although swimming is definitely not on her agenda! 😂

Here’s a funny fact about Sandy: She refuses to eat food off the ground—even her own dog food! It must be returned to her bowl unless it happens to be a delicious piece of chicken or steak. Clearly, Sandy has standards!

We love Sandy’s joyful zoomies and big smile. Congratulations to our newest Patriot Pup of the Month! 🐶

Our Golden Patriots enjoy opportunities to connect with one another, attend student performances, volunteer at school events, participate in special projects, and cheer on their favorite Patriots! Through their time, talents, truth, and treasure, they help create a lasting legacy of faith, scholarship, and community at Covenant.
Dana Roberts, our Golden Patriots Lead, is the friendly face behind it all! She keeps our grandparents connected, shares ways they can get involved, and makes sure they know about the exciting things happening around campus.

🐾 **Future Veterinarians at Work!**

Our Pre-K students had some very special visitors! Fellow Covenant parent and veterinarian, Missy Melcher, stopped by with her dog, Yoshi, to share what it’s like to care for animals.

Students put their animal knowledge to the test with a fun "Guess the Animal” x-ray activity, met Yoshi, and even tried their hands at a surgery simulation!

We love seeing learning come to life through members of our own Covenant community. A big thank you to Missy (and Yoshi! 🐶) for making this such a fun and memorable experience for our Pre-K students!

"Wanderer Above a Sea of Fog" by Capser David Fredrick

Painted in 1818 by the German Romantic master Caspar David Friedrich, Wanderer above the Sea of Fog depicts a solitary traveler standing atop a precipitous rocky crag, looking out across a vast abyss, veiled in a rolling mist, blanketing the details below in obscurity. Friedrich positions the figure with his back to the viewer, a technique known as the Rückenfigur, which invites us to stand in his place and share his contemplative gaze into the expansive unknown. Rather than celebrating human mastery, the German Romantic tradition used the breathtaking scale of nature to evoke a sense of the sublime, capturing both the smallness of man and the grandeur of creation.

Approaching this artwork through visio divina (sacred seeing), this masterpiece offers us a profound meditation on Christian discipleship and steadfast trust in the Lord. The sea of fog mirrors the uncertainties and hidden paths of our earthly pilgrimage, reminding us that we often walk through life without clear sight of what lies ahead. Yet, the wanderer remains securely anchored upon solid stone, a vivid image of Christ, our cornerstone, who grounds our footing even when the world below is shrouded in mystery. As you look upon the horizon of your own life, may this canvas turn your heart toward Psalm 121, reminding us that our true help comes from the Creator of heaven and earth.
