Big congratulations to our incredible Cub Scout Pack Leader Scott Hammatt on earning his Wood Badge beads! 🎉

Wood Badge is one of the highest honors in Scouting leadership, representing months of dedication, training, and commitment to making the program better for every Scout. As part of this journey, he set five meaningful goals for our pack—each one helping us grow stronger, more organized, and more impactful for our families.

Rain or shine, our Cub Scouts had an unforgettable adventure at Camp Bovay! 🌧️🏕️

Despite a little rain, the Scouts made the most of every moment—showing great spirit and enthusiasm all weekend long. They tested their aim with archery and BB guns, struck it rich while mining for gold, built creative brick cars, and even learned some essential knot-tying skills!

Of course, no campout is complete without gathering around for delicious s’mores and sharing plenty of laughs. 🍫🔥

We’re so proud of our Scouts for their positive attitudes and adventurous spirit. Camp Bovay was a huge success, and we can’t wait for the next outdoor adventure!

🎣🐟 What a fin-tastic day at our Cub Scout Fishing Derby! 🐟🎣

Our Scouts had an incredible time out by the water, learning new fishing skills, showing patience, and reeling in some great catches! We wrapped up the day celebrating their hard work and achievements with trophy awards 🏆 and proudly presented fishing pins and belt loops to recognize their accomplishments. The smiles (and fish stories!) say it all!

A big thank you to all the volunteers and families who helped make this event such a success. We’re so proud of our Scouts and can’t wait for the next adventure!

Come join Pack 438 for our annual Fishing Derby this Saturday (March 28) from 10am-noon at Greenhouse Park. Bring your fishing pole, and we'll provide the rest (if you don't have a pole, we have some you can use). All scouts will earn their fishing rank achievement.
Don't forget to bring your Scouting 6 essentials with the most important for this event being water and whistle. Pack will have First Aid kit, maps, and snacks for scouts.

Tonight was a truly special night for our Pack as we celebrated our Arrow of Light Scouts crossing the bridge! 🌉✨

After years of hard work, adventure, and growth, these Scouts have reached the highest rank in Cub Scouting. We are so proud of each of them and all they’ve accomplished along the way.

As they take this exciting next step into Scouts BSA, we know they will continue to lead, explore, and achieve great things. Once a Cub Scout, always a Cub Scout! ❤️💛

Pack meeting Wednesday night March 18 at 7pm in Rennell cafeteria. Come join us to experience our Arrow of Light scouts crossing over from the Pack to the Troop! It will be a memorable experience for all scouts!

82 cars were raced this year in the 2026 Pack 438 Pinewood Derby. Congratulations to all the winners, and to everyone that had a great time at the event! Thanks again to all the set up and racing crew, as the setup and preparation was AMAZING and made for a great event.
