A glimpse into the last couple of weeks with my kiddos... they really are the coolest humans :-) They write sweet notes and pleasantly do their work in a way that brings me joy. This is why I love my school community and my beautiful job.

I started a blog. Its for my teacher self. I haven't exactly hit a stride with it yet but I intend to share my experiences, the great and the tough. Through it all I remain a superfan of education, superfan of students, and a superfan of this life.

I love this show. My niece and nephew love it. The writing is so great. As adults, as people with life experience who have important roles in student's lives... we need to be mindful about the media they consume and encourage them to be mindful!

So this post ended up in a place I didn't expect. Change is hard, uncomfortable and yet it is the only way we grow. Personally it was painful for me-- but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
