Buddies Against Drunk Driving (B.A.D.D)

Speaking to a YMSL organization this evening at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church.

Giving a presentation today to a NCL Chapter in Cypress. Excited to see some of my former students. Don't Drink and Drive!!

Because Michael Giacona drove drunk on June 25, 2011, we lost Aaron. Birthdays and holidays are still tough. Never got to see what Aaron accomplished in his adult years. Please don't drive drunk or even buzzed tonight or any night. We want our loved ones home. Have a designed driver, uber, taxi or call a friend who hasn't been drinking. So many options. Aaron forever 20. 💔

So sad the love of my life passed away.

Dennis and I are presentating Aaron's story tomorrow at KinKaid School. It's going to be a little harder since it's my birthday. Say a prayer for me tomorrow. Thank you Officer B for inviting us to speak.

Dennis and I are presenting Aaron's story about drinking and driving to health classes at Cy Fair HS. Holidays are coming up. Don't drink and drive. Plan ahead.

I have a question. Several people have put flowers at Aaron's cross. Makes my heart feel so good that people remember him. The flowers have died and I feel bad about removing them. Don't want to hurt their feelings. A few years ago I had brothers that were students of mine give me two pinwheels to put at Aaron's cross. Months later they started looking pretty bad. I wouldn't remove them because I thought it was an awesome gesture. Finally the boys came up to me in class and told me, "Mrs. Penny you need to take those pinwheels down, they look terrible". So I did.

What would you do?

Had a great time presenting Aaron's story to students at Cy Fair HS. Got to see several of my former students.

I'm so excited that we will be speaking to the Health classes at Cy Fair HS on March 28th.

Had an awesome time presenting Aaron's story to Vista High School in Klein this morning. Very well mannered students and they asked a lot of questions.
