General information

Evangelist Thomas was raped four times. She was raped by her uncle before she was a teenager and by a friend of the family during her Jr. High school years. She was also raped by the same man twice during her adult life, molested on the school bus by her cousin, molested by a coach in her Jr. High school and molested by a different uncle. There was a failed attempt rape by a different cousin and she endured five years of mental and physical abuse in her first marriage.

She battled with suicide, low-self-esteem, emotional abuse, homosexuality, prostitution, alcohol and depression.
