Jersey Day is always a student favorite! Our Warriors filled campus representing their favorite teams and showing off plenty of school spirit.

Now, let’s carry that spirit into tonight! Join us for Elementary Night at the varsity football game. Elementary students will get to run through the Warrior Tunnel, so be there early!

Tunnel run-outs begin at 6:45 p.m.
Kickoff at 7 p.m.

🥔🩺 Potato Man Surgery!

Our Anatomy & Physiology students recently stepped into the role of a surgical team while putting their knowledge of medical terminology into practice!

During “Potato Man Surgery,” students practiced patient privacy, pre- and post-op procedures, anatomical body regions and directions and the importance of thorough documentation throughout a medical procedure.

After a successful surgery, patients were sent to the PACU and students completed their final chart documentation.

A fun, hands-on way to bring classroom learning to life!

🏈 CCS Elementary Football Night!

Calling all elementary Warriors! Join us Friday, Sept. 4 for a special night of Warrior football packed with fun just for our elementary students!

✈️ 6–6:30 p.m. | Student check-in and pick up your paper airplane for the halftime FlyTru Paper Airplane Contest

🏃 6:45 p.m. | Elementary students run through the Warrior Tunnel

🪙 6:53 p.m. | A nominated elementary teacher joins the coin toss

🏈 7 p.m. | KICKOFF!

✈️ HALFTIME | FlyTru Paper Airplane Contest

And there’s more! The grade level with the highest participation percentage by 6:35 p.m. will earn a special grade-level incentive at school the following week!

🎓 The Class of 2026 Makes CCS Proud!

As members of the Class of 2026 begin their freshman year of college at campuses across the country, we want to celebrate their accomplishments at CCS one more time!

This outstanding group of 70 graduates achieved some incredible milestones:
• 100% college acceptance
• Acceptances to 127 colleges and universities across the country
• More than $7.8 million earned in academic, leadership and athletic scholarships
• 20 AP Scholars
• Six student-athletes continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level

Beyond the numbers, we are proud of who these students have become and the many ways they are using the gifts God has given them. They leave CCS prepared to pursue a wide range of majors, careers and opportunities, and we are excited to see the impact they will make.

Class of 2026, as you begin your freshman year, know that your CCS family is cheering you on! We pray you continue to faithfully follow Christ and use your gifts to serve others and build His Kingdom.

One Year at Home. 🩵

It’s hard to believe it has already been one year since the ribbon-cutting ceremony for our new Bridgeland campus. The past year has gone by so quickly, yet this campus has already been filled with so many incredible moments, milestones, traditions and memories.

We remain incredibly grateful for everyone who prayed, gave, planned, built and worked to make this campus a reality. As we reflect on this journey, we are reminded of Nehemiah 2:18: “Let us rise up and build.” What was once a vision is now a place where our students learn, worship, compete, perform, build relationships and grow each day.

While much has changed, our mission remains the same. We will continue pursuing it every day, using this campus to equip students to learn, lead and serve as we faithfully follow Christ.

Here’s to one year of calling this campus home and all that God has in store for the years ahead!

Welcome to CCS, Mr. Torrey Ognoskie!

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Torrey Ognoskie, our new Middle School U.S. History Teacher, to the Cypress Christian School family!

Mr. Ognoskie graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009 and brings 15 years of experience in education to CCS. Most recently, he served as an AP teacher and Associate Head Baseball Coach at Cy-Fair High School. He is excited to bring his experience and passion for education into the eighth-grade U.S. History classroom.

Mr. Ognoskie and his wife, Haley, have been married for 15 years and have two sons, including a fourth grader at CCS. Outside of school, he enjoys reading, running and coaching his son's baseball team.

We're excited to have the Ognoskie family join our community and look forward to the impact Mr. Ognoskie will make in the lives of our middle school students.

Warrior Rider Shines at Tryon International!

Congratulations to junior Bailey Hickey, who recently competed at Tryon International aboard her horse, Layla! Bailey brought home several blue ribbons in the jumpers division, a reflection of the hard work, dedication and partnership she and Layla have built in the ring.

Bailey is also a member of the US Equestrian Interscholastic Athlete Program, which supports student riders as they balance academics and competitive riding.

Way to represent CCS, Bailey! Congratulations on an incredible accomplishment!
