We are incredibly proud to celebrate some of our outstanding seniors who participated in the first-ever Cy-Fair High School CTE Signing Day! 🎉

These students have worked hard to complete the Animal Science Program of Study and have earned their Elanco Veterinary Medical Certification.

Each of them is taking the next step toward a future in animal science, veterinary science, and agricultural education, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the impact they will make in these vital fields.

After 9 months of practices and attending 17 different contest throughout the year, the livestock team finished their season at the Texas FFA Livestock Judging State contest on Saturday.

They placed 25th at the state contest and throughout the season they also placed in the top 20 teams at 13 different contest and had lots of success in individual placings as well including:
1st place team at Waller County Fair
1st place team at CFISD Livestock Judging Contest
2nd place team at Magnolia West Invitational
3rd place Waller FFA CDE Contest
3rd place team at Texas Tech Invitational

Gavin, Riley, Makenna and Danielly did an amazing job representing our school and school district this past season and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.

Amanda, Mia, and Miranda attended the Area contest at Sam Houston and placers 33rd. We are so proud and can’t wait to see what next year holds for this new team.

This last round included steers, barrows, ag mech and 3 seniors who took their last trip to the green shavings.

We are very proud of these 3 for their work ethic, commitment and a strong finish to their senior year.

Houston Round 3: Complete

This round we checked off not only the junior heifer show but the scramble show as well. We had 8 kids and calves showing this round and they all managed to land top 10 finishes in some very competitive and deep classes.

Houston Round 2: Complete
The Swine Squad ended their show season with a bang at the Houston Livestock Show Gilt Show.

And if these results weren’t good enough Peyton & Makenna made the top 20 in Senior Showmanship out of over 100 kids.
