We are in the affected area, so we will be closing our center for everyone's safety as of 3 PM today. Please stay safe everyone!

Effective 5/22/26, a mandatory evacuation order has been issued in areas of the City of Buena Park by Ball Rd. to Trask Ave. and Valley View St. to Dale St. due to a chemical spill in Garden Grove. Residents in the Girl Tract are urged to leave the area immediately and follow directions from emergency personnel. Residents needing a safe location may go to the Ehlers Community Center - 8150 Knott Ave.

The Buena Park City Council proudly proclaims April as Autism Acceptance Month! This month celebrates and honors the experiences and identities of Autistic individuals and emphasizes understanding, inclusion, and support. In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, a special declaration was presented to representatives from the Korean American Special Education Center, who work to help individuals with developmental disabilities achieve their goals and build happy and meaningful lives within the community.

Our Harmonia Ensemble and Inclusive Basketball program students celebrated Pepero Day together, and the room was filled with laughter, excitement, and lots of chocolatey joy. Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to create spaces where our students feel included, celebrated, and connected.

한미특수교육센터(KASEC)은 하모니아 앙상블과 농구 프로그램 학생들과 함께 빼빼로데이를 기념하며 즐겁고 따뜻한 시간을 보냈습니다. 학생들이 서로 나누며 웃고, 초콜릿을 받으며 기뻐하는 모습을 보니 마음이 절로 행복해졌습니다. 이러한 작은 축제가 학생들에게는 큰 응원이 되고, 서로 연결되는 소중한 시간이 됩니다.
