One of my favorite things about this season of life has been the built-in time with my mom and dad. I’ve always been incredibly close to them, but this season has bonded us in ways I don’t know how to explain. They’ve held me through some of my absolute lowest moments, and I’m so grateful for the way they’ve loved me through it all. 🤍

And one of my other favorite things? Having a built-in mahjong player at all times. 😂🀄️

Tonight after dinner, we played a few rounds, and in the very first round, THIS was my hand at the end of the Charleston. THEN… she discarded the 8 Bam I needed to mahjong as her FIRST discard on this concealed hand. I was shocked. 😂

I was also GIDDY. Truly, you can’t make this stuff up. Maybe the tiles knew I needed a little win tonight. 🥹🀄️✨ Sorry, Dana O'Neal 🥰

The Mahjong Open Cypress officially launches the week of August 17th, and I could not be more excited to kick off our inaugural season! 🀄️💗

This is your sign to grab your mahjong besties and come be part of The Mahjong Open! Think of it as a flexible 8-week mahjong league where you can play on your schedule, meet new players, climb the leaderboard, and maybe even win some fun prizes along the way! 🏆✨

Think of it as a flexible league! You get to play when you want! As much as you want! And still earn points towards your total score and prizes! There’s no pressure to play at a specific time every single week and you can still meet new mahjong players in our area! 🥰
Our first week of proposed games will launch August 17th! Come join the fun! We have 7 people so far who have jumped in and are excited to play! 🩷 Come join our community of Cypress mahjong players! 🥳🫶🏼
