𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜?
My favorite thing is being able to connect with students and help them succeed beyond the classroom, to be the kind of teacher I was thankful for or wished I had when I was in school.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪?
I want new students to know that I was once a student too. Shocking, I know, but I wasn’t a very good one. I feel like kids have this preconceived notion that all teachers got straight As and flew through school with ease. They might assume we could never know what it’s like to struggle with simple math, reading, or school in general. This is not true in a lot of cases, but especially in mine. I struggled all through school and am still limping through college to this day, so I know what it’s like to not “get it” as easily as some of your classmates.

Also, I’m a pro wrestler, so I guess that’s pretty cool too.

𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚, 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙞𝙩 𝙗𝙚?
Thanks to the other job I mentioned, I’ve actually gotten to travel quite a bit! I’d still love to go to Phoenix, I’m a huge Suns fan and would love to see a home game. And for wrestling reasons, I’d love to go to and work in Japan.

I’m most excited about joining this incredible family, getting to see my Saddle Club kids more than just after school, and getting to meet all the others kids who aren’t in Saddle Club.

🥋 Our Saddle Club kids earned their yellow belts in karate at the end of summer school. They all worked hard and seemed to enjoy learning more about Japanese culture. 🇯🇵
