Here at SCS our Life Compass High School is built on one driving purpose: to help every student become life-ready. Our mission is to guide every student towards finding the point where their God-given traits and aptitudes meet their God-given passions and purpose.
One way we will be doing this is through our agriculture program. As we build this part God has provided through multiple sponsors and resources. We currently nurture blueberry bushes, raspberry bushes, pear, trees, and several more. Next week we will be building our pollinator garden. Our pollinator plants are already “buzzing”with excitement.

Yesterday 4th grade went outside for a fun lesson. Each student started at the Start line and tried to jump to the Finish line. The trick was that the Finish line was impossibly far away. Some people got a little closer than others, but no matter how hard we tried, no one could do it on their own.

Living a perfect life is impossible for us, too. Romans 3:23 says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". We talked about how Jesus is the only One who has never sinned. He made it to the finish line and lived a perfect life.

When we believe that Jesus is Lord, that He died to pay for our sins, and that He rose again, He washes us clean from our sins. He makes a way for us to go to Heaven because of His perfect life, death on the cross, and resurrection. So, the teacher drew a cross to connect the Start and Finish lines, and the students walked across.

Please be sure to order online for your student and it will be shipped directly to your home address.
We have TWO online stores pictured on the next page with QR codes to each store.

5TH - 8th Graders PE Uniforms
Your PE uniform can be ordered off of the Kent Custom Shirts online store.
(See instructions on the pictures on the next page...old uniforms are still acceptable from previous years. These are required for changing on PE days.)
