AP Human Geography in action!
Our AP students took map projections off the page and into their hands with a creative mandarin activity! By attempting to flatten a spherical surface into a two-dimensional map, students discovered firsthand why every map projection involves distortion.
Students explored how shape, area, distance, and direction can be distorted and how those choices affect the way we see our world.

Passport stamped. AP Ready!
Today, our Rays took a journey toward AP success at our AP Bootcamp! 📚

Through 7 stops and 7 strategies, students spent the morning traveling into a variety of workshops. From sharpening their skills in FRQ’s to understanding how to evaluate credible sources, our Rays now have the right mindset to start the year off.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible AP teachers for making each stop engaging, meaningful, and worthwhile. Our students showed up ready to learn, participate, and prepare for the journey ahead.
