The Andrew College community mourns the passing of Mrs. Julia Williams, a beloved educator, colleague, and friend who dedicated more than 30 years of service to Andrew College.
Throughout her tenure, Mrs. Williams served Andrew in many capacities, including as Associate Professor of English, Interim Academic Dean, Student Success Center Coordinator, and tutor. Her commitment to education extended well beyond campus, as she traveled internationally through Fulbright programs to Malaysia, Singapore, China, and South Korea, as well as to England through an Andrew College Study Abroad program.
Above all, Mrs. Williams cared deeply for her students. She was actively involved in the lives of the students she served, always willing to offer encouragement, guidance, and support. That same spirit of service extended to her colleagues, as she could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to faculty and staff across campus.
Mrs. Williams gave generously of her time, knowledge, and heart to Andrew College. Her dedication to our students and her lasting contributions to our campus community will be remembered with gratitude.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, former students, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her. Her legacy will forever remain a part of the Andrew College family.
