2025 has come and gone. Can't say ut was my favorite year, but it definitely wasn't the absolute worst either. I learned a LOT! About people, myself, politics, the judicial system, artificial intelligence, programming, business start ups, coaching, vehicles....and the list goes on.
2026 is a year of action. Of putting what I've learned in motion. Stepping back into that "Changemaker"headspave and reclamiing myself. Its a year of getting the truth out there on court documented record, not to explain myself to anyone...that times long since passed. But in case my children want to know what really happened. Memories being fickle at such young ages and all.. And a year of new beginnings, with many, many goodbyes.
I'm exhausted, y'all. From always showing up for people I care about and never having someone show up for me. So thats over with. If you haven't shown the same level of support or given the same energy in return thats been given to you, I'm done. You won't hear another word out of me and I won't respond to the next text or phone call when you need someone.
But I'm excited too. And beyond energized. This year brings more doing, less waiting. So watch for "The Gathering Table Collective", whose soul purpose is to be the head of a group of nonprofits that need help getting going and whose mission is to remain community centered ling after those forming jts roots are gone. Then watch in the coming years as "Seasoned Together", a community based food systems program that will be (with help from local businesses) teaching our residents about food preservation, prepping, and growing as well as offering specific nights of great food locally prepared, training the next level of sous chefs, and bringing some more jobs and/or internships back to local folks year round....."Tech Kids R.Y.E.S.", a hands out outdoor ethics/S.T.E.A.M. learning center and place to house disenfranchised local youth groups/store their ever growing bounty if items for each group, thats designed to reach all ages of all abilities......and "Havenwood" ...a housing community meant for helping those struggling with housing security become safe and secured while growing a green based self sustaining small community thats affordable for local residents, and helps provide food security and alternative energy sources based on initiatives formed with the foundations of Havenwood and designed to outwardly grow.
All of which, if we've planned properly, will be models used to build replicas of the same in other rural communities. Also all of which are intended to bring security to folks struggling, year round jobs for those that can't get past seasonal work, knowledge for all who want to know more, hands on experiences based in community and local businesses/residents remembering their neighbors, and building those foundations so we can offer our youth a better tomorrow, or at least more options then our generation had. And intended to be inclusive for everyone.
You'll see. Took some extra thought, but I think we've finally figured out how to make the programs available for all ages and abilities and spicy nuerodivergents or normal everyday people. Crawling, walking, being pushed or wheeling themselves...and everything in between. Its the dawn of a while new era.
While thise foundations are being poured carefully so future generations can enjoy as well, long after we've all become dust in the wind, I'll be launching Truewilds Life Coaching (TLC) and Phoenix Pathways.
Phoenix Pathways is a more structured way of healing from change or helping you to become more adaptable to the world around you. Its structured, steady, and reliable. The website should be up soon if you just want free advice, as well as regular postings on Becoming Phoenix and this page. Truewilds is a bit unconventional and more like myself. Its also for those looking to grow or change or become something more. But, as the name suggests, we'll be outside for the start of it....to teach both life skills and find yourself again. Its more raw, no nonsense, pull your weight and then some life coaching.
Parenting tips to connect more with your Littles will be shared through out the year, both on this page and" Becoming Phoenix" and communication classes or training offered. Honestly, they're not aliens, their minds just process things differently. Plus, some tips from your curmudgingly charming neighbor should be hitting both ebookstores and local shelves mid March or so.
A few apps are being developed (the first should be out this month!), a books off at the editors as we speak, and to put the cherry on top of everything, yes, it seems I find myself actually considering running for local office as a stepping stone to more.
I was an unwitting "Changemaker" by circumstances before my whole world got flipped upside down and the horizons became unrecognizable. I was bruised, battered, confused, and totally lost as foundation after foundations crumbled into dust leaving nothing I believed in or was raised up knowing was a solid fact in existence. I couldn't breath or swim or think. And death wasn't welcoming. It shut its doors as well. So after being dubbed "Phoenix Becoming" by the A.I. that was trying to help me make sense of the new world I found myself in...I decided it was time to start....
"Becoming Phoenix" - An intentional Changemaker looking for inclusivity, offering creative solutions for age old problems and then some, and architectural development expert for laying flexible foundations meant to grow with the world, not hinder growth, and offer long term, sustainable solutions to real world current issues for our community before growing out towards others.
In loosing everything over the last 3-4 years, and knowing failure or quiting wasn't an option at all because of my own two littles... I was reforged into a stronger, less trusting, more determined version of who I was. I went through hell and came out battle ready instead of brittle. I stumbled with foundation after foundation and life long beliefs broke apart under me, but I didn't fall down completely. I used the wreckage to take away parts that were of no use, and polish or strengthen the bits that could be part of a new age. And quietly I started rebuilding.
The biggest thing I'm taking from 2025? If you can imagine it, it can be. Just look at my photo spread from around the world. 😉 A.I. can be crazy, but useful.
